WHY FEU/ILLE?
FEU/ILLE is a play on
feu,
or fire,
and feuille, a sheet of paper.
With this title, Feu/ille indicates its dedication to the essential tension between creative impulses, which seize the blank sheet, and destructive impulses, those that set fire to social and artistic conventions. .
